Welcome to my page!  I am the English Department Chair and currently teach Freshmen and Sophomore English.  I have been teaching English since 2011 and have had the opportunities to teach English in Akita, Japan, California and now Washington State.  I hold degrees in Art History, English Literature, and a Master's of Education from the Ohio State University and an Administrative Service Credential from Point Loma University.  Prior to teaching, I served in the US Army for 8 years.

When I am not teaching I am working in my yard planting my gardens or lanscaping my trees.  I also enjoy endurance sports and have cycled coast-to-coast across America 2 times by bicycle.

I love teaching and am proud to be a part of the Tigers.  I am excited for the school year to begin and to share my love of literature and learning with all of you.
