I started my teaching career in Granite Falls at Granite Falls High School while completing my student teaching in 2018-2019 school year. I am no stranger to the town however, I am a past graduate of Granite Falls High school. Prior to earning my Masters in Teaching, I worked as an Exercise Physiologist, which provided me with several fun and exciting opportunities and led me to see how much I enjoy teaching people about science. I earned my Bachelor of Science from Bastyr University and my Master's in Teaching Science from University of Southern California. Outside of teaching Chemistry, Biology, Sports Medicine and Biomedical Human Anatomy, I enjoy coaching, running, the outdoors, and hanging out with my family. I am so excited to be back where it all started for me!
