Whether you can spend one day a week, or one day a year, we welcome you to volunteer at Monte Cristo! 

Please get in touch with your child’s teacher or the main office for volunteer opportunities. Volunteer activities are based on the time you have to give, your strengths and interests, and student and teacher needs. Activities include:

• Listening to students read
• Practicing flashcards
• Correcting papers
• Organizing materials for projects
• Field trips

All volunteers must complete a Washington State Patrol background check, which is good for two years. You may download and complete the WASHINGTON STATE PATROL form and send it to school along with a copy of your driver’s license or come into the office and we will gladly help you. WSP clearance is good for two years.
