Hello.  My name is Tammy Nichols.  I am a special education teacher at Mountain Way Elementary School.  I have been teaching in Granite Falls for almost 20 years. Teaching is my passion. I love my job and my students and enjoy going to work every day.  I have been married for 35 years to my  husband Philip, and we have 2 grown children that graduated from Granite Falls High School.  My husband is a retired Navy Chief so we spent the first 20 years of our marriage traveling around the world. We continue our love of travel, but now in our motorhome, traveling with our feisty chihuahua. I  am looking forward to many more years of teaching in our wonderful community.
