While we encourage families to take vacations during the summer and other school holidays, we also understand that sometimes a parent’s schedule doesn’t always match the school calendar. If this is the case, parents are asked to complete the “Student Pre-Planned Absence Request" form.
The principal and teacher will determine the impact that the missed days will have on the student’s progress as well as the previous attendance history and determine if the absences are excused or unexcused. Vacation-related absences are not a guaranteed excused absence.
