Meal Pricing for 2025-26

1. HB 1238:  Beginning with the 2024-25 SY, elementary schools, where 30% or more of enrolled children are eligible for free or reduced-price meals, are required to provide means at no cost to all students.  Therefor, both Mountain Way and Monte Cristo Elementary students will get free breakfast and free lunch for the 2025-2026 SY.  *It is crucial that Free & Reduced Meal Applications get filled out by ALL parents and returned as soon as possible.

2.  Again this year- Granite Falls Middle School students will be grouped with Crossroads High School and Granite Falls Open Doors and all of the students who attend these schools will get free breakfast and free lunch for the 2025-2026 SY due to the CEP program.  *CEP (Community Eligibility Provision) allows schools, with high numbers of students who qualify as low-income, to serve free breakfast and free lunch.

3.  Granite Falls High School does not meet the HB1238 for the CEP requirements and for that reason, Granite Falls High School will continue on with the Free/Reduced/Full-Price model for the 2025-26 SY.  In order for families to be approved for free or reduced-price meal, a Free & Reduced-Price Application must be submitted.  Breakfast price: $2.50. Lunch price: $4.00.

Prepay for Meals Online

 

Please visit Skyward Family Access on the GFSD web page or the Child Nutrition Services web page. Many parents enjoy the convenience of paying for meals online. It is our computerized system that allows families to access balances, view purchases, request low balance email notifications, or make payments 24 hours a day from your computer. Contact the school secretary and you will be assigned a username and password. There is no charge to view purchases, receive email notifications, or check balances. There is a 3.49% transaction fee to make an online payment. All balances follow your students into the next school year.

To file a program discrimination complaint, a Complainant should complete Form AD-3027, USDA Program Discrimination Complaint Form(link is external), from any USDA office, by calling 866-632-9992 or by writing a letter addressed to USDA. The letter must contain the complainant’s name, address, telephone number, and a written description of the alleged discriminatory action in sufficient detail to inform the Assistant Secretary for Civil Rights (ASCR) about the nature and date of an alleged civil rights violation. The completed AD-3027 form or letter must be submitted to USDA by:
