Planning for the Future: Facilities Committee Update!
Last night, our Facilities and Capital Projects Committee held its second official meeting of the year!
This time, the committee gathered at Granite Falls Middle School for a building walkthrough alongside our community partner, Millig Design. Together, they discussed facility findings that need attention so we can bring our schools up to date and provide the learning environments our students truly deserve.
Want to stay in the loop? Even if you aren’t on the committee, we want you to know exactly what’s happening! Take a peek at our meeting minutes to see the full discussion, and please reach out to the district office with any questions you may have.
Thank you to our dedicated committee members and partners for working to keep Granite Falls Schools safe, modern, and thriving!

We have partnered with Millig Design Build for a comprehensive 3-day evaluation of our district facilities. Their team of experts will be walking our halls and analyzing data to create a roadmap for critical upgrades to our HVAC systems, boilers, and infrastructure.
Why this matters: These "behind-the-scenes" systems are the backbone of a productive school day. By improving our energy efficiency, we are creating safer, more comfortable learning environments for every Tiger.
A huge thank you to Millig for their partnership and to our community for making these essential improvements possible!
Stay tuned as we get up to this work!
