Proud Washington State native, born and raised in unincorporated Snohomish county. I reside on Lake Howard with my wonderful wife, Rachel, and have been teaching in public schools for 10 years. A graduate of U.W. 's Masters In Teaching program in 2012, I am certificated in English Language Arts, History, and Social Sciences . I earned my National Boards certification in 2017, specializing in Social Sciences and Adolescent Development. I am an avid outdoorsman, camper, hiker, Jeep afficionado and recreational target shooter. If I'm not at work or fixing something on the lake property, you can find me driving my Jeep Wrangler (We’ve so far owned 6) somewhere out in nature! Prior to teaching I worked as an automotive technician.
