Lori Hanson
Lori has been the registrar at Crossroads since 2017. She has a BA in Education from Western Washington University, spending the last 20 years teaching in various private schools. In the 90’s, she taught at Educational Clinics Incorporated (ECI), a state funded program for at risk students. For 10 years, she was instrumental in helping dropouts earn lost credits and return to high school. In 2004 she and her husband opened Pacific Learning Center, a school for students with autism and other disabilities. As Assistant Director, Lori supervised teachers, managed the office, taught History, Art and Math and ensured the school remained accredited and kept its Non Public Agency status. In 2015, Lori left PLC for her first “Public School” teaching experience… at Denney Youth Center, where she returned to working with at risk students. She had decided to retire from teaching to work in a school office, but is contemplating going back to teaching at Crossroads.
