STAY HEALTHY, CLEAN, AND SAFE

Below are some simple food safety guidelines for your meals.

 

  • Wash your hands before eating this meal or handling the food.
  • Cold meals should be eaten immediately or refrigerated within 2 hours of receiving the meal. Foods like dairy (milk, cheese, etc.) and meats should be quickly refrigerated at a temperature of 41° F or lower.
  • Any leftovers from this meal should be thrown out after 5 days of receiving it! Throw out any meal that is left out for 4 hours or longer at room temperature.
  • Any FROZEN items should be quickly placed into a freezer within 30 minutes of receiving the food.
  • Frozen food should be prepared properly. General guidelines would be to cook all meats and items containing dairy (Ex. Macaroni and Cheese) to 165°F or higher and frozen vegetables to 135°F or higher.

  • Corn Dog – oven 375 degrees 15 minutes or microwave  1 minute 
  • Pizza Square – oven 375 degrees 10-15 minutes
  • Pizza Triangle – oven 375 degrees 10-15 minutes
  • Cheese Breadsticks or Pepperoni Breadstick – oven 375 degrees 8-10 minutes
  • Egg Patty or Cheese Omelet – oven 375 degrees 8 minutes or microwave 1 minute 30 seconds
  • Pizza Pocket – oven 375 degrees 8-10 minutes or microwave 2 minutes
  • French Toast or Pancake –  oven 375 degrees 8-10 minutes or toaster
  • Cheese Quesadilla – microwave 40 seconds turn 45 seconds
  • Chicken Nuggets – oven 375 degrees or  microwave 2 minutes
  • Chicken Patty – oven 375 degrees 18-20 minutes or microwave 2 minutes
  • Hamburger Patty – oven 375 degrees 10 minutes or microwave 1 – 2 minutes
  • Tater Tots – oven 425 degrees 18-23 minutes
