WelcomeWelcome to the Granite Falls School District! We are located in Snohomish County in the State of Washington in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains, 13 miles northeast of Everett and 40 miles north of Seattle. Granite Falls has a rich history and our schools reflect local traditions. They are often at the center of community activities like Railroad and Reunion Days in October, as well as Show-n-Shine and National Night Out in August. Together we are as strong as Granite.

Granite Falls School District serves nearly 2,000 students in grades K-12 with approximately 220 teachers, administrative, and support staff that provide students a supportive learning environment to develop life-long learning skills.

At Granite Falls School District, we focus on preparing students to be college and career ready. Our goal is to help students transition successfully between grades and graduate with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes to excel in a global society and in post-secondary education.

Our district has a comprehensive academic and special education program. We offer advance learning programs including College in the High School, Advanced Placement Courses, and Highly Capable Program starting in kindergarten. Career and Technology Education (CTE) courses are available in business, computer science, graphic design, video production, health occupation, and manufacturing.

Our state-of-the-art high school features a performing arts center, a CTE manufacturing facility, state-of-the-art technology , and science labs. In 2019, we added a new middle school STEAM building and a covered grandstand facility. Our schools provide a near one-to-one computer to student ratio with accessible technology at all grade levels.

Teachers at Granite Falls School District nurture students and make success a priority. Lower class sizes in primary grades give every student a great start to ensure academic progress. Our para-educators, bus drivers, secretaries, and maintenance staff are committed to providing safe and well cared for schools.
