I have lived in the Everett area my entire life. I attended Western Washington University where I received my degree in Communications and my teaching certificate. This past summer I completed my Masters degree in Educational Leadership from City University. It was a great opportunity for me to be back on the other side of the desk and in the position of a student. In my spare time I enjoy spend times with friends and family as well as traveling. My passion outside of school is waterfowl and upland bird hunting with my chocolate Labrador Retriever Abbey. On the off season you can usually find Abbey and me somewhere in the great outdoors or on a road trip to some new place in the state. We have a wonderful Multiage team and it is my greatest honor to be able to teach side by side with my sister Debra Howell.
I am looking forward to another amazing year with my students.
