New Homework Calendar goes home today.  Only 3 assignments this week, you have to complete all of them.

With a ruler, draw and label each length: ¼ inch, 1 inch, 1 foot, 1 millimeter,

1 centimeter, 25 centimeters.

 

Bonus: 1 yard and 1 meter

Measure the length and width of the table or surface you use to do your homework. Calculate the perimeter and area. If your surface is round find the circumference and diameter.

Create an About the Author page for your book. Include family background, hobbies, where you live, and other stories you have written. Write it in 3rd person point of view so it sounds like some one else wrote it about you.

Make a list of the props and/or costumes that you will need for Poetry Night.  Indicate how you will get each item (home, school, friend, Mrs. Brown). If you don’t need anything be sure to tell what you will wear.
