Happy 2008! 

     Where has 2007 gone?  Time flies when you are having fun and I have had a wonderful first 4 months of school!  We continue to prepare for the WASL and Middle School - we have a lot of work to do.  I continue to expect my Fifth Graders to be role models for the younger students at Monte Cristo.  They continue to be responsible to each other to keep our classroom a fun, safe, and productive place to learn.  They have a responsibility to themselves to continue to make this a year of learning and growing so they will be ready for the challenges and fun of Middle School.

The Spelling List is on the homework page.  The words are longer and more difficult this year, so be sure to help your child study for the test on Friday.
