Mountain Way awarded prestigious 2010 School of Distinction honor
Mountain Way Elementary has been named a School of Distinction from the Center for Education Effectiveness (CEE) and Phi Delta Kappa. Only the top five percent of all schools in Washington State earn the award. Read more here->

Welcome to Mountain Way Elementary School. We serve students in grades K-5 with approximately 60 teachers and support staff that provide children with a stimulating academic program in a safe and supportive learning environment. 

The school has over 500 students with a full academic program in addition to music, library-media, physical education, technology, Literacy Nights, special education, counseling services and challenge classes. A strong parent volunteer program supports a tutoring/mentoring program, book fairs, family events, enrichment assemblies, student recognition and extra-curricular activities.
