Welcome to Monte Cristo Elementary School, home of the 2007-2008 National Teacher of the Year. Monte Cristo Elementary serves students in grades K-5 and multiage with sixth grade. The school has approximately 60 teachers and support staff that provide children a safe and caring place where all students feel challenged and supported.

The school has almost 500 students with a full academic program in addition to music, library-media, physical education, technology, special education, counseling services and multiage classrooms. A strong parent volunteer program supports a tutoring/mentoring program, book fairs, family events, enrichment assemblies, student recognition and extra-curricular activities including Young Authors and Math Olympiad.
