Crossroads Alternative
Program
Crossroads serves students in grades 10-12 who have not
found success in a traditional high school setting. The
Crossroads program works with students to earn their
high school diploma in a small, individualized setting.
Students attend four days a week for a specific number
of hours and are required to complete a specific number
of homework hours depending on the individual program.
Students and parents/guardians agree to a contract and
an individualized learning plan. Students can also
participate in the Sno-Isle Skill Center, Workforce
Development, or Running Start programs. Crossroads is
housed in the portables located behind the old high
school at 405 N. Alder Avenue.
Re-Entry
The Re-Entry program serves students who are looking for
a temporary place to complete credits for the current
semester. Students are referred to Re-Entry for various
reasons including entering the high school too late to
obtain credit, having a court order for attendance,
behavioral problems, or other extenuating circumstance
that may prevent them from being successful in the
regular program. Students attend four afternoons a week
and work on classes based on recommendations from their
high school counselor. The number of courses students
are allowed to complete is based on their entry date.
Students and parents/guardians agree to a contract for
outside homework as well as an Individualized Learning
Plan. Students may use this experience to determine if
they are ready to re-enter Granite Falls High School or
apply to Crossroads. The Re-Entry program is housed in
the portables located behind the old high school at 405
N. Alder Avenue.
Crossroads Night Program
Crossroads night school is open to students who are
under the age of twenty one and past their intended year
of graduation but desire to continue working toward
their high school diplomas. Students agree to a
contract for outside homework as well as an
Individualized Learning Plan. The Crossroads Night
Program is housed in the portables located behind the
old high school at 405 N. Alder Avenue.
