General Information

In order to participate you must have a current physical (physicals are good for 13 months), emergency card information, parent consent form, and all other paperwork completed prior to practice. Paperwork is available at the high school and district offices during the summer months.

You must also purchase an ASB card ($30 due at time of sign up). All fees and fines must be paid prior to practice.

Note: All incoming freshmen must have a new physical unless the doctor states in writing that they are able to participate at the high school level.

Concussion Information
A concussion is a brain injury and all brain injuries are serious. They are caused by a bump, blow, or jolt to the head, or by a blow to another part of the body with the force transmitted to the head. Athletes with the signs and symptoms of concussion should be removed from play immediately. The legislature now requires school districts to provide information about concussion, and all parents must sign that they have been notified of the information and guidelines in the Concussion Information Sheet.

2009-10 Participation Fee Structure
Due to funding cuts from the state and declining enrollment, the school board has approved participation fees for athletic programs beginning fall 2009. This is just one of many programs or services that have been altered to make the necessary budget reductions. Others include reducing staff, moving to an "all day, every other day" kindergarten program, and transportation route changes. The fees, which are effective for 2009-10, are posted here (pdf).

Adult Passes
The high school is offering adult punch card passes for $30. The punch card pass consists of 10 punches. This is a savings of $20 per card. You can purchase your pass in the high school office or at any sporting event.
